Event Formats
Dev Foundry events are designed to increase output, accountability, and collaboration.
1) Coworking Sessions
Section titled “1) Coworking Sessions”Purpose: create protected build time with community support.
Format:
- 10-15 minute kickoff with goals
- focused build blocks
- optional unblock check-ins
- short closeout with shipped work and next steps
Expectations:
- arrive with a clear task
- work on real project deliverables
- share what you completed before leaving
2) Demo Nights
Section titled “2) Demo Nights”Purpose: make progress visible and reward shipping.
Format:
- short demos of what members built
- practical feedback from the community
- discussion of next milestones and support needed
Expectations:
- demo real progress (prototype, release, experiment, insight)
- keep demos concise and practical
- ask for specific feedback or help
3) Incubation Sessions
Section titled “3) Incubation Sessions”Purpose: help ideas become validated projects and teams.
Format:
- members pitch ideas, problems, or experiments
- collaborators form around promising work
- teams define immediate next actions
Expectations:
- be open to feedback and iteration
- focus on evidence over assumptions
- leave with ownership and a short-term plan
